daddies and their daughters

I have several recent sessions to post from along with some fun family pix from this early Fall, but I have to share this one and then go back to work.  This is from a session I had yesterday.  We were walking back to the car and I looked ahead at this Daddy's girl hitching a shoulder ride.  I rummaged through my bag, whipped out my camera and jogged ahead a few steps to capture the sweet moment.  The days of being carried on your Daddy's shoulders pass so quickly.   

  I WISH that I had this exact picture of me and my dad!  I have the memories locked away but a picture like this is a treasure forever.  A freeze frame from the whirlwind of childhood.
