A Day in the Life

Virginia sessions part one

I am so behind on updating this blog with the adorable faces of my clients from my recent trip to VA.  Here are a couple of shots that make me smile from one family.  There are so many but if i shared them all at this crazy time I would never sleep! Wait..I hardly do that anyway! Many more to come... I am just getting started....

and the magic number is... 7

While I was away this past weekend back in VA I stayed with our good friends.  We've been friends for 6+ years and I have known them since there were only three tots. Soon after the friendship began the license plate read 5 TOTS.   About a year after that the license plate had to be changed to 6 TOTS.  ( 9 months prior It had been football season and to those two the  Baltimore Ravens apparently are an afrodisiac!) It was always a good time and our two families became like one big family and our kids thought they were all brothers and sisters.  Then football season happened yet once again.... and after peeing on a stick while on vacation in VT together Lucky Number 7 was on the way!  Now the license plate reads 7KIDDOS.  These kids are family to me.  Their mom is like a sister and I even had the privilege of watching little Lucky Number 7 come into this world.   I miss these guys terribly and love that I get to see them as often as I do despite the distance now between us.   

During my stay we rounded up the troops for a mini session to try and get a pic for a Christmas card. After several different settings I told them to run out into the culdesac and stand in a line side by side.  It kills me that they lined up perfectly in order of age with out being instructed to!!   I absolutely LOVE this shot and in my opinion it captured them perfectly!
